Mrs. Carol Byrne

Hello! I'm excited to join the St. Jude Bulldogs team this year as your Intervention Tutor to share my enthusiasm for Reading and Math with your families. I'm originally from Michigan and met my husband, John, who is a St. Teresa/Elder grad. I graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a B.S. in Elementary Education. I've spent my career in various educational capacities from 6th grade teacher, Intervention Aide, Preschool Assistant, and stay at home mom. We have 3 wonderful and fun children, John, James, and Clare, who are Oak Hills grads. They're all married and live in northern Ohio, Colorado, and Michigan (wonderful places to visit!). I love a good book, gardening, walking/hiking, travelling, trying to perfect a cake from scratch, and family parties. We now have 4 beautiful grandchildren who keep us busy and traveling!

A thorough background check is required for all those employed or volunteering to work with youth or vulnerable adults as a cleric, at a parish or school, as an Archdiocesan employee or at an Archdiocesan institution. All volunteers and employees are required to complete the electronic/online background check through SELECTION.com prior to beginning their volunteer activity or employment. In addition to the electronic/online background check, employees are required to complete manual fingerprinting and submit a B4 form before begin- ning their employment at an Archdiocesan parish, school, or institution.
